I don't think my insurance company would've been as tempted.

Yeah but the time waiting can be spent sorting out the new tail tidy, dark screen, etc, etc.

GSXR750 is one of those bikes I always told myself I'd own. A mate has a blue/white current model. Very nice.

As in, I walk in with a big bag of cash...when do I get to ride out with the bike...guess they don't have a big pile of boxed up ones out the back like when I used to work in Currys

New to this bike world, see...come from carland "that'll be with you in about 3 months sir"

6 days

They had a blue/white K7 in the showroom but I thought I'd wait for a black one

Wow...they all kept in a central warehouse then just shipped to the local dealer?.

Cool.

One very sexy bike.

Edited to say...Sooooooooo much better in the matt black, than blue/white.

My dream bike, you lucky so and so.

Bikes don't often have waiting lists (that I know of).

Triumph's 675 alledgedly had one (although every dealer I spoke to could get one instantly, in any colour).

Suspect there are a few with them, but not these kind of bikes.

Cool, cool, cool bike

I'd like to try one and compare to my K6 thousand... I guess it's going to feel lighter for the corners but wonder whether I'd miss the instant power of mine... Like the look of it in black, congratulations!

Nothing like a new bike is there!

Looks nice.. couple of problems from my point of view to ownership.

1. My gixxer600k3 got nicked - they attrack unwanted attention esp in East London.
2. Due to 1 my fully comp insurance premium for my 7.5 year old R6 has gone down to just under £700 this year!! Thats with H&R who are by far the cheapest for me. I tried to get insurance quotes for a few new 750s and 1000s and they were simply stupid! i.e. way above 1k which is mental.

Yep, they did - it's a quality bike, you'll love it I'm sure... We should arrange a PH track day or something next year - would be a good laugh...
