Can we find room for the new SportClassic 1000S in there too?

Or we could wait until after Milan, when I have no doubt that the UK release details will be given out. I suspect that once you get through the faff of importing, VATting and SVA'ing them, you'd be better waiting.
Not to mention no warranty or support from Ducati-GB.....

to be honest theres something about that that just doesnt float my boat. it just doesnt flow. doesnt look like it was designed as an over all package. looks like they took the front of the new desmocetti and the swing arm of an old 996 had a random seat unit made up and cut up a 996 fairing that was lying about.
i liked the 999
maybe it will grow on me

never been a fan of the 749/999 (I specifically bought my 748 after the 749 had been out almost a year) but I like this.
front end is a cross between the classic 916 shape bikes and the new desmocedici, and it has the all important single swing arm
I also like the hypermotard, that looks a right hoot (on short journeys)

It's nice, apart from the awful exhaust cans. How rough. Eek.
But I really liked the 999/749 with the stacked headlamps and integral zorst, it was bold and futuristic.
And I'm always wary of the single swing-arm. Looks good on the BMWs with an exhaust can on the non-arm side to balance it. But with underseat exhausts it looks a bit weird and off balance to me, like the current VFR.

You're absolutely right....I don't think I'd go the USA route due to all the associated risks / problems......best start saving the pennies for a UK 1098 S........or wait a couple of years and buy a second hand one with termis and some other goodies that someone paid full whack for when new
