I was in CJ Ball Suzuki today collecting parts (yet again) for my bike repair... Asked sales about a trade in on my K6 1000, they wanted £2K for my 06 bike with 3K ish miles to buy a new 2007 750... Would need to take a test ride first but my mates 2006 R6 felt really light which I liked - all be it low on torque... Funny but I didn't think my modern 1000 would be much heavier but you can really feel the difference vs a new 600...
Anyway, back to your bike - looks awesome and IS probably the best bike money can buy unless you want to spend a load more cash but even then the more expensive bikes would find it hard to beat...
Enjoy and let us know what you think when you've had more of a chance to blast around - be extra careful at this time of year though, no heat in the tyres, patches of greasy water etc etc.. I'm sure you already know this but though I'd say it anyway!

Gorgeous bike mate, really nice. I guess this is a good time to buy a bike, what with taking it easy whilst running it in....(red lined it yet??!!)
Many congrats, it really looks the nuts.

No, no I haven't redlined it yet. For two reasons:
1. I don't want to 'do a Chilli' and have an unscheduled meeting with a ditch and;
2. I'm running it it :P

Its certainly got some legs compared to the 600

It might even be quick enough for ole Virgil

After Friday afternoon I hope to be able to let you know...or at least start to be refused test rides...
A stunning, stunning bike. Having trawled around a couple of shops now, still my favoroute looking bike.
Great stuff.

You don't have to run it in per se, just do about 120-150 miles keeping it under 7,000 rpm and then give it the berries....modern bike engines don't need to be wrapped up in cotton wool, they need to be revved. Nice bike by the way and the best colour, black is always faster

Did you used to post on SELCOC under the same username? I remember your posts I think!
Used to own a 111R but got shot as I only ever used it on motorways plus I didn't like the silly Toyota engine with the huge cam change step...
Biking is loads more fun as well

Yes, I'm reasonably well known on SELOC.
