I took a XB12R for a test drive today bloody good bike at first i hated it, seemed unstable and statchy but after a while it was torquey and nibble.I wish i could have had abit longer though becasue it took so long to get used too. I think it would be a mean handling bike when i'm used to it. Lovely sound too just got to do the maths now

Go for a second hand one, they drop like a stone in value.
Probably get a race pipe too second hand. They look good in black, test rode one last year. Ended up with a firestorm instead, better bike for me.
