Black bikes really are (potentially) faster
Discussion
Here's an interesting little thought...
On the way to work I pass three of those signs that illuminate with the speed limit if detects you're speeding. I used to set these off every now and again (accidentally, I tend not to keep my eyes glued to the speedo) on the blue/white gixer but I noticed that I wasn't setting them off on the satin black gixer. Curiosity took over and I had to conduct further research.
Made sure they were working by watching a couple of cars go through and then did a couple of runs: one just over the limit and one erm, a bit quicker. No illumination. I know for a fact that the blue/white bike would set off this particular sign, too.
Fun, eh?

NO.
Matt black finish is the best , gives less reflection back to the scamera hence why you hardly set them off , the thunderace was pretty stealth in black/blue , really miss that bike
Had no trouble hounding the modern stuff on it , ducatis for brekfast and blades for lunch
never underestimate the Ace
. As a road bike it could kick the modern sports bikes in the bollox good and proper
