"Imbecile" ?, you must be to ride it in this poxy weather. Glad you are happy with it though. What tyres did it come with ?, if it has the same 014s my thou came with I suggest you take it steady, after 2.5k mine are well past it and the grip is nothing special either.

Good post M.

A friend of mine recently bought a blue and white K7 and he loves it. He says the extra capacity really pays dividends over his old K1 600 - he pillions his missus a lot. She's not so happy about the tiny pillion seat but that's a different story.

We'll have to sort a Cambs/Beds blast in the new year.

The coldness isn't the issue, it's all the road crap that will stick to it and will remind you all those rumours about the Suzuki's finish are true.

Yeah, would be good

Maybe blade7 can come along too and show as all what a proper bike can do.

Or even a proper rider.

Tell me about it. I've just gone from a slightly tatty high mileage ZX7R that I rode in all weathers to a low mileage, immaculate TL1000R and I just can't bring myself to ride it in the shit weather - did two hours in the rain yesterday and loved it, but the two hour clean afterwards has put me off riding it all year round. A shame really!

I guess that rules out anyone too scared to take it out in the wet then

Not too scared sonny, though I seem to remember you admiting that the K5 thou shit you up LOL, done the rain/snow/ice riding thing years ago and learned a few lessons along the way, and it takes more than a 750 to impress me too. See you next spring maybe, me on the mint thou, you on the salt encrusted/corroded tiddler.

Are you able to reply to any post without sounding like a ? Did I wrong you in another life or are you just massively, massively insecure?

I've phoned the Daily Mail to give them the hot article that a more experienced rider on a more powerful bike is quicker than a newbie rider on a less powerful bike, though. Fame beckons!

Rawwr - running in - what's all that about then?! hehe

Seriously though, give it the beans - it'll benefit in the long run. Check the forum for a discussion on this very topic a while ago. Take care on the new steed in the sh1te weather though
