Having been just as guilty as the rest of you when it comes to taking the michael out of Chilli for his efforts to create a streetfighter, I shamefacedly put my hand up and admit to joining the ranks.

Blind sum'bitch on the M3 changed lanes without indicating. No big damage to flesh, and it looks initially like plastics and sticky out bits, but it wont start (does the whirry starter motor thing) Its all good...

In my defence, my helmet was black, and therefore I was riding to avoid ditches....

On the bad side, the shop has a very very nice RSVR Mille in scratchchin

Ouch, a motorway off. Sounds like you were lucky there - what sort of speed were you doing?

Around 50 in a flow of 40. As it was just before the M25 junction, L2 and L3 were becoming less populated, so I'd cut back from 60 to allow for knobjockeys. Unfortunately, I was only about 5m and closing on this one's left rear when he went for it. FLashed and moved, not far enough, he knocked me when I was off balance, I overcompensated and splat.
Fortunately, the wobbly bit was enough for the nice chap behind me in the artic to read the future, and start slowing down, so when I came to rest, the M'way was static.

Lucky indeed. No hedges for me, oh no

Sh!t, sorry to hear that mate. Sounds like you were pretty lucky, although unlucky to find yourself next to that wnaker. Reading it again, mate it could have been a lot worse.

Mine wouldn't start after off(s)I had to remove the ignition key, before re-starting... some kind of trip switch me thinks.

Glad to hear you're ok though, and note that all experience is good experience.....so they tell me!

Cheers.

Glad you (if not bike) are OK.

So were you filtering between L2 and L3, or actually in L2? Did he stop so you can get details, or just drive off?

Just got the heads up doode.

Guess you'll be restricted to 4 wheels for a while now!

All the best.

Filtering. L2 was clear, but that was a big gap, rather than an empty lane. Big enough for him to want it, of course. Just got an email from my beloved witness, and she seems on-side

I did not see him indicate before he moved over; you were probably in his
blind spot
He hit you with the back near-side corner of his car

Blipi, :scratchin: Mille, hmmmm.

Ouch...though great that you have a witness who sees it your way. Did you get details of the other driver?

Yup, and the details match, which is nice
