Yet another threat to our wallets! Saw something on the news this morning so dug around a bit and found the following -

I wonder if there will be the same number of spaces if this is done, or whether the anchor points force bikes to be parked in a certain layout.

You're right, but they will also be converting quite a number of bays to resident permit parking.
