Here's me at an indicated 205mph on my old Busa. The timing beam was actually broken at 186mph from memory. Gotta love those over-optimistic speedometers!

Veetwin...looks like you've got the same lid in all the pics...does this mean you are not very good at crashing?

LOL. I take it that crashing is viewed as normal then??

I had a bad off in 1993 and would prefer not to repeat the event!

The lid is a Haydon replica which needs replacing now as it has a load of stone chips on the chin bar and brow. Can't find a decent Shoei design to go for though. They all seem a little bland and I will not wear any other brand of lid, so I am stuck for choices at the moment.

Seems to be fairly normal on this BB...not naming any names, but there seems to a fairly good hedge hugger on here

No spills for 13 years, and by the look of the pics you are definately not hanging around. May the luck (and skill) continue.

Hmm, I can't begin to think who you may be talking about.

I think in the years that I have been riding the biggest influence on my safety was primarily my original accident, secondarily my passion for life with my wife family and friends pushed me to do an advanced rider course (edge44 with Hants Police) prior to a return to biking 5 years ago.

Reading Roadcraft (motorcycle version) has helped along with attending Ron Haslams twice and then numerous track days.

Sadly, as with most male human beings, the adrenalin and testosterone can still take over all that you learn, no matter who you are or what age. We are all susceptible to the red mist and it is down to managing how much of it you allow into your riding on either road or track. I find myself having to wind my neck in a lot for the want of life preservation.

I hope that 2007 continues in the same way, we are looking at starting the season with Silverstone Full GP on Sunday 18th February. I just hope we get good weather!!

No, we came across from Perpignan via Quillan, Ax les Thermes then up into Andorra. I wish we had more time to explore more of the Pyrenees on the Catalonian side. Maybe next time!!

Great roads, noticeable power drop when up at altitude, I lost second gear wheelies completely. It was like riding a 400, no joke.

Great pic!!

I love Europe, so much better than the UK for roads and general road user attitude towards motorcyclists.
