Was just waiting there at the lights, when he just cut out. Hit the srater switch and absolutely nothing. Turned the ignition off...waited for a few seconds.....then fired him up again. Wierd. Think this could be the start of some "issues"?
Chilli I had the exact same thing with my Tuono. After many much investigation it turned out to be a loose battery terminal connection.
I would check yours even if it isn't it will still eliminate one possible cause.

Cheers mate, I'll have a look.
Have a look for an abrasion to the wiring loom that might cause an intermittent short and add the kill switch to the list of possibles. The Falco did this to me this morning, but I've yet to decide if it's my riding technique (not enough throttle and too much clutch) or an actual fault with the bike. However I can restart straight away, so it's not quite the same as your issue.

Maybe a blocked tank venting line ?
If it does it again, try to open the fuel cap and listen for "swoosh" going INSIDE.
Maybe some condensed water in the fuel Tank vent line /fuel cap venting had frozen overnight,
and got thawed up by the engine heat later on ?
(on bikes with fuel pumps, I´ve seen tanks get dented to the inside by the vacuum)
Just my 2pfennigs......erm....its cents now,
Benni

Blimey, that's a bit "severe". Dented tanks? I'll open it up later and have a butchers.
Cheers.
I had a problem with my VFR800ix cutting out on me whilst I was riding - which was nice. After stopping and turning it on/off a few times it would start again. My father and I went through all the usual suspects before taking it to the dealer, turned out to be the (dealer installed) aftermarket immobiliser cutting the fuel/spark.
