Looks like i'm coming back to the biking world this year, and i need some ideas of what i could get?
Not really a big budget £2500 max, quite comfortable, just for crusing the welsh hills!

Any ideas?

True! 26yrs, 11yrs on & off, reasonable comfort, some wind protection, just for weekends so very low mileage

last one was a 600FX

Ah, then in that case.... a 600 sporksbike sounds the one for you....... In black, for obvious reasons!

Go for it mate! - looking on auto trader you don't get a lot of Blackbirds under £2500, but there were a couple about that price.

S reg 30k miles, etc etc

CBR 600F is a nice all-rounder loads of those about for £1200 upwards.

Gixxer 750.
An early Fireblade.
Busa or Blackbird.
Or even quite a new SV650.

Yamaha Thunderace 1000, comfordable but still quite agile, as quick as you would want it to be, looks the part and excellent value for money (You can have my 1998 for £2000 ). All this and cheap on insurance.
