You need to get out more

Personally I got into bikes through a teenage book called "Into the Road" which I still have (somewhere). After that I lapped up everything I could find about bikes, including a fictional book about bike racing, Easy Rider and some piece of eighties dross called "StreetSparrow" or sommat.
heh
nice piccies on the site, was that an XN-85 nose cone that was used for the fairing?
Funnily enough I got into bikes after years of tutting and shaking my head at biker mates' antics... because it was cheap transport (at the time - 1988).
Kind of ironic that I now ride one of the top-ten most expensive (mass-market) bikes going
Never watched that TV thing (probably 'cos it was aimed at 12 year olds and I was twice that
), wasn't it another variation on the KnightRider/Airwolf theme (with speeded-up film where the bike supposedly shot off, no doubt
)...?
In similar vein, though, it's always entertaining
to watch Mad Max and see all those monster Kawasakis getting trashed

, Its what got me into bikes so I feel it deserves some respect, I dont care what anyone thinks but it has its own appeal and for me it has sentimental value.
