Saw one of those rotary engined Suzuki RE5s yesterday.
My first nomination for the ugliest production bike ever.
I remember in 1974-5, our local bike dealer (Rafferty Newman) got one of the first RE5s in the UK. I can still remember thinking, who is going to pay that much more for an RE5 over the GT750M.
What other uglies are there out there?

Maybe some but the R1200GS and the K1200R are pretty cool bikes and how can you say that the 916, 996 & 998 are ugly bikes; even Ducati admitted they got it wrong with the 999 and that's why the 1098 looks very similar to the 916 - 998, I go as far as saying the 916 was a design icon.

No Kate Beckinsale but neither is she a Jade Goody, in my view she hides her light under a bushel!

Sorry for any offence caused, but it seems I'm not alone in having that opinion - see the group test in this month's Superbike magazine.
The 'busa is a pretty ugly machine. Fast as hell, but ugly. That's aerodynamics for you!
I should also add, every chopper ever produced as well, especially those with the ridiculous long forks and ape hangers. Slow, uncomfortable (hard-tail.... Suspension was invented for a reason!) and they cost more than a desmodeici. What's the point!

Agreed. Can't believe I missed it off my original post.
Either love them or hate them , I love mine , nearly 6 years now and theres nothing I would swap it for , its a predator .
