Does anyone fancy coming along on a trip to France?
Each year a group of us ‘lads’ take a long weekend in France/Belgium/Germany. (See www.old-gits.org for previous trip details.) This year we plan to head over to Vittel to see what the roads are like, enjoy some of the local food/wine/beer and generally get away from work/family. The trip is planed as:
- Leave ‘Blighty’ on the evening of Thursday 3rd May.
- Cheap hotel around Bethune on Thursday night to then head down the Autoroute to Vittel on Friday.
- Stay in a local hotel until Tuesday 8th May at which point we will head back up the Autoroute to Calais in time for a mid afternoon crossing.
Ridding styles of the group are more IAM than IoM where ‘making progress’ is more important than top speed.

Thats a pity, ChasMill,Wapping and myself plus some other GOM's are doing a similar trip on the weekend of 19/20th May. We will have to liaise for 2008.
