Afternoon all,

I had a sit on a Triumph 675 over the weekend - I couldn't belive how light it felt compared to my 1000. What's going on with the weight figures as my GSXR weighs in at 166kg according to the mags - the 675 weighs in at 165kg with the R6 at 161kg... Why does my GSXR feel so much heavier to push around?

Note that the GSXR 600 also feels much lighter yet the mag states 161kg so not that much less - I assume Suzuki weigh the 600 the same way as the do the 1000...

I'm confused confused

Cheers...

K6 gixer thou is lighter than the 06 ZX10 but feels heavier at a standstill, what's important is how it feels on the move, both wheelie very easily but the 10 feels much more flighty.

Yeah, feels fine on the move - just a heavy machine when you push the bike around at standstill. I'm going to have a ride of the 675 / R6 to see how they compare in the corners. I love my K6 though, would have to be a load better for me to change.
