TBH, didn't even think about it!! Would have been on the floor within 5 feet!! Wished I had a nice rear wheel drive motor, love driving in the snow!!
I mate told me he was walking to the station this morning, and overtook a guy on his moped.....they're out there, eh??!!

lol, I didn't see any this morning. What I did see, however, were some wonderful displays of complete inept driving. First off, overtaking a Range Rover that was managing to do 15mph on the A428 and, secondly, a diesel Passat overtaking me and then stuffing it into a tree. Fantastic.

I must admit, there is some quiet satisfaction in watching a Passat gently stove into a tree. Passat drivers are the new 3-Series drivers, after all.

Oooh touchy! I take it that was your Passat. hehe

Probably could have ridden in, if I could have navigated my road. The risk of dropping the bike into the car on my drive put me off though. That would be deeply embarassing.

Steve.

Must be something about VW drivers then.....

I left extra early this morning to avoid the muppets, and as I was waiting to turn right across the main road into where I'm working, a Golf GTi was coming towards me and turning left into the work entrance...

Didn't slow down enough on the partially gritted main road BEFORE turning left into a hardly driven over entrance covered in 4 inches of snow.....turned in, but straight away went straight on, bounced hard over the curb that was somewhere hidden in the snow and almost took out the 6ft high lighted company sign.....laughlaugh

Chap at work here managed to make it all the way in and then dropped it in the carpark outside our window!!

The brick car park is like ice today!

Still its a BMW GS so can stand up to lots more of that.

Surrey has 3-4 inches of snow, couldn't get out of our road so sat watching Mums in 4x4 driving at walking pace. Then went of sledging with our 4 year old. Working from home is such hard work

Unsuprisingly got the tube/train in today (was planning to anyway), found a route in not affected again like the other week.
Got into the office to find quite a lot of people (mostly management) not in today and 'working' from home.
I would have done the same except its our monthly dept drinks night and it would take a lot for me to miss that!

If the snow lies here I might go get the Boxster out and head down to the local supermarket carpark
