Anyone played on a Moto Guzzi 1100 sport?

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a new toy this summer.

I've done everything from GS550's, streetfighter and ZX's through to VTR's and 1100 drag bikes. Current stable contains a Busa and GSXR750. I really like the looks of the MG 1100 and was wondering if any of you owned or had experienced one as there seems to be little REAL info on the web?

I was soooooo tempted to get a V11 Sport as my first big bike but eventually chickened out. The forums at www.motoguzziclub.co.uk are friendly and probably have all the info you need (or you can ask).

i do like guzzi's had several over the years but never an 1100 sport ,i did test ride one several years ago and did like it ,felt quite different to the older models .be warned they do take a while to get used to shaft drive,v twin power ,linked brakes etc .and yes i would buy one .the daytona or the dr john rep preferably .
