Harley lesson for a 75 year old - B'day pressie
Discussion
Hello all!
My girlfriend's mum is a complete bike nut. It's her birthday at the end of March and the other half is trying to arrange a day on a Harley for her.
The only drawback is that she has never ridden a motorbike of any power before. Hence, I thought I would approach the PH Biker Massive to try and find out if there's anyone out there who could supply a bike and potentially a lesson or two for a day?
Some other useful info is:
She lives in Suffolk but can travel to London/Essex etc etc
She's 75 but is very active (ie more like a 60 year old)
So, over to you guys - make an old lady very happy

Do mean actually riding one or a ride as a pillion...?
If you mean actually riding one, without a license, that's just not going to happen, as you would need to book a days CBT etc plus a days training blah, blah, and no training school will have access to a Harley...?
You may be able to arrange a days ride as a pillion from your nearest Harley dealer if you ask nicely and pass their palms with silver.
If you want a day in London anyway, you could try Warr's which is the UK's oldest Harley dealer, they may be able to suggest or come up with something.

OK...pillion ride shouldn't be a problem.
Your local Harley dealer will have an affliated HOG (Harley Owners Group) chapter and I'm sure you'll get a HOG member willing to take her out for a run.
Only Harley dealer in your neck of the woods is Black Bear in Newmarket.
