My new Gsxr750-K7 was delivered yesterday, had a good ride home on it, and a surprisingly good ride in this morning given that it was lashing with rain and windy as fcuk.
First impressions are that it is very small, very solid feeling and the front end is directly connected to your thought process, with the throttle response a nano-second behind. All in all a superb tool.
The first 60 odd miles are done, so only another nine days to the first service and then.............

Nice choice. Was interested in one of those, but thought I'd start on something sensible first!

Is he the guy who mistakenly believes that something made by Honda is better than the Gixxer?

Not quite but you're on the right lines

You made a great choice, in my opinion, but I am slightly biased in that respect

You could give the Suzuki guys the keys to the Honda plant, and they still couldn't build a bike like the Honda lads.

Sorry. There's engineering and then theres engineering.

Congratulations! A biker friend of mine collected his K7 a few weeks back, great combination of power and weight - fantastic bike. As for the weather, it's been sunny every day here in Norfolk and... I've been busy so been out once

have fun , what an ideal bike.

Last year , one ran in excess of 180 straight out of the crate at RAF Woodbridge (in excellent conditions )

Yep, and I stand by what I said. I've raced Yams, Hondas, Kwackers and Suzukis.

Honda know how to screw a bike together and make it last. Period.

Well, I suppose you can have that, as long as you don't mind your bike sounding as rough as a bears arse.
