The R6 is now been declared off the road & therefore not paying road-tax.

I've also just cancelled my insurance as I don't see the point of paying £700/year for Fully Comp or £450/year for TPF&T as I only need insurance against theft.

It spoken to my home/contents insurance & they are unable to insure it (even as a special item).

Obviously, at present, the bike is uncovered & if it got nicked I'd be £'s down.

Surely there's someone who will insure against theft only ? WHO !!!!

Think I've sorted it. Although Norwich Union wouldn't cover me direct, when I spoke to a broker (MCE) they said that they could get Norwich Union to cover it. And they did.

Its been put on the contents insurance as a 'special' & costs £80/year to be insured against theft, attempted theft, fire, smoke, explosion, storm & floor. Value put on bike is £5500.They also said because its less than 2 years old that they would replace like for like.

BARGAIN yes
