Corser's pole time in WSB was 1:58.402. Those 800cc GP bikes are quite quickeek

Stoner might be worth a bet for the championship (with good odds)

Stoner just has to do better this year. He will not be the king of DNF.

VeeTwin Almanac 2007

Prediction: Rossi to start mind games on Stoner before the end of the weekend. Stoner will become completely demoralised and continue crashing until 2009 and take a seat on the 1098 WSBK bike.

Also, Pedrosa to run Rossi the closest all season with Edwards trying to protect the Golden One. Pedrosa will grow a Biaggi goatee and start blaming 'The Corporation' for his in ability to outbrake Rossi when it counts.

Hayden to never acheive higher than 15th place all year and slope quietly back to AMA for some redneck bashing.

11. Shinya Nakano JPN Konica Minolta Honda (M) 1min 56.306 secs
12. Carlos Checa SPA Honda LCR (M) 1min 56.609 secs
13. Chris Vermeulen AUS Rizla Suzuki MotoGP (B) 1min 56.639 secs
14. Olivier Jacque FRA Kawasaki Racing Team (B) 1min 56.754 secs
15. Alex Barros BRA Pramac d'Antin MotoGP (B) 1min 56.814 secs
16. Sylvain Guintoli FRA Dunlop Tech 3 Yamaha (D) 1min 57.257 secs
17. Alex Hofmann GER Pramac d'Antin MotoGP (B) 1min 57.274 secs
18. Kenny Roberts USA Team Roberts (M) 1min 57.495 secs

20. Jeremy McWilliams GBR Ilmor GP (M) 1min 59.606 secs
21. Andrew Pitt AUS Ilmor GP (M) 1min 59.725 secs

McWilliams was thrown off the bike on his last lap, with a still healing broken bone it might have been bad but he seems to have got away with it. He even set the 6th fastest top speed on the bike through the timing beam. Ilmor seem closer to the pack than they did in testing.

Elias surprise of the session for me. Clearly the 800cc dynamics suit his two-stroke style after a crap year on the mighty 990.
