Shhh, this is a bit of a secret!

I was thinking about adding some bike content to the 'editorial' on the home page, you know- the odd bike review, bike news etc.

Now there are plenty of bike sites out there so we aint going to try and compete, but we could do more than we currently do.

What do you think? Would you like to see bike content on PH??

Cheers
G

Yep, more biking content would be a good plan.

Would be nice to see some bike editorial on PH.

But whatever you do don't let Chili do the roadtests otherwise they may end up as crash tests

Oh yes thumbup

Would be good to see a few more bits and bobs out there, to be honest, as we have a nice comfy little corner out here in BB.
Anything to encourage people to discover the "environmental benefits" of two wheeled fun and games hehe

Any assitance, etc etc...

News rather than reviews I think, like when the new bikes will likely be out, etc.

I'd just add a note of caution about the risk of 'bike vs car' comments it might attract, but think the idea of topical bike news would be great.

Oh and if you need a Police motorcyclist to test anything...in the real world then please let me know. Would be more than happy to road test a Ducati 1099 for six months to tell you what I think !!
Only 6 months??????? Everybody knows that to form an impartial opinion you need to ride a bike for at least 18 months laugh

Ducati haven't released a bike that will work for 18 months yet so i think the 6 months should be about right

Maybe Lambo meant he'd have it for 18 months, but as it's a Duke, he'd only be able to ride it for 6!

Definately a good idea.

Can't expect to compete with the likes of MCN or superbike in terms of readers or hit-rates, but you could do it radically different to them and actually make it good, which they seem incapable of doing hehe

the sooner the better, with the aforementioned caveat of offering write-ups in exchange for long term loans of the latest bikes.....well i can dream can't I

Would love to see bikes covered on PH - the community spirit here is fantastic and bikes are a massive part of motoring in the UK so makes sense. In addition, many performance car owners either have a bike or fancy having a go...

Sounds like a fantastic idea. I'd be happy to write up a couple of reviews - tyres, kit etc and would be happy to write the odd review of the bikes i've owned, though they haven't been brand new.
