The Ducati jeans are made of a patented fabric called armalith used previously exclusively in space, military and offshore applications. Armalith®; offers extremely high strength and resistance to abrasions and tears caused by slides. Yet, at the same time, this fabric shares the lightweight, breathable and easy-to-wash characteristics of simple denim, as well as denim's celebrated look. Internally, the pants are lined with inserts in specialised Nomex III fabric that protects from the heat produced during slips and slides.

I have a pair of Concept 6 and am very happy with them, gladly not crashed on them and hopfully never will, but that are kevlar weave and heavy denim.

Not speaking from personal experience here, but when I was doing my CBT a friend of one of the instructors fell off wearing armoured jeans (I don't know which type) and his legs were cut to ribbons.

Mythril I think.

A mate of mine came off on the Autobahn in the rain, and his waterproof overtrousers were shredded, but his Draggin Jeans held up realy well. Only bruises to show for it. I guess the rain helped too.
