my ped was stolen and in 5 months i was going to get a 125

i'm 16 and i had a 50cc ped to get me to work and about an it was stolen! in 6 months i'm goin to get a 125cc bike. but i need transport now. is it legal to get a 125 and restrict it to a 50cc bike???

please help!!!!!!!

No. You will have to get another 50 until your 17. You can only start restricting bigger cc bikes when you have passed your test.

Can you still bore out the 50's, I had an AR 50 and got it bored it out to an 80cc, all the lads abroad bore their scooters out, have a look into it mate.......

You can but it is illegal. If it is bored out then the police will not notice but they will if you buy a cylinder kit for it. You could bore it out of get a cylinder kit when your 17 legally though. If it was me I would get another 50 until you can get a 125.

the problem is when you bore them out etc and then going flying past the police at 60mph on your 50cc 30mph ped.

Charlie, if you are anywhere nr leicester there is a honda bali 50cc with tax but no MOT in my garden that you can have for 100 notes also have most of the bits you will need to get it through its mot with it so should be plain sailing.
