According to MCN it is definitely 848. They took the tank off a 1098 and etched in the underside of it is the models it is designed for (1098, 1098s, 1098r, 848, 848s)

it i can afford it i may get the 1098 when i get my insurance payout, but might wait and go for the 848S early next year depending on how long the insurance takes and how much the 848s retail for, i would think realisticly they will be about £8k or so, the S will be a noticiable premium more.

Just by-the-by, I was in Ken's of Newcastle the other day looking for a lawnmower battery and they had a 1098. Sitting right there, about as far away as that cushion is now.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

Amazing.
