Well huzzah!!

Nice bike that TLR - saw one the other day in perfect condition with a high-level can and it sounded like a low-flying bobmber - just fabulous!

Happy reading and let us kow what you go for!

I am being a bit rude here (don't mean to be) but how can your partner stop you getting a bike? (unless financially guiding you)

I have never felt as if I had to get her permission, but good on you mate!

My the fun of selecting your bike begin.....

V-Twin all the way!

I tend to change bikes as often as my underpants!I've had a new GSXR600 k3,Hayabusa,Honda SP1,ZX12r,Yamaha R1 and now my TL1000R,i've had the TL longer now than any of them so that must say something?,i luv it!Its a true V-Twin,big,torquey throbbing motor(Ooh missus)whereas the SP1 was quiet refined and smooth for a V-Twin.Give the TL a go,great bike!

Yes, but don't get the TLR, it's too lardy. You want a nice TLS, you do.

Ooo thats Fighting Talk hehe
I love my TLR.. Admittedly its had its fair share of tweaks but even with some sensible mods its one hell of a bike.
And without blowing smoke up my backside, even though my bike is now 8 years old it still gets lots of approving comments..

Mine's got the M4 system and it sounds just luuuuvveerly!!

Of course the great thing about the TL, R or S, is that many are owned by people who love them so they're fettled and modded for you to buy.

Just don't buy this one

TLR is a good road bike, but IMHO not a good track bike. I had one for 4 months before taking it back and swapping it for an R1

Lardy..! Maybe. But in classic Suzuki colours white,blue..nice.cloud9

Its actually quite difficult finding an unmolested one in the above colours...

I'm not so sure that 'unmolested' is what you want. There are plenty of mods which make the bike better, (TRE, 1/5 throttle, exhaust, PCII, etc) it's just a matter of finding one that hasn't been messed about with by an idiot.

If you're seriously interested in a TL then www.tlzone.net will help you tell a good un from a bad un.

Well done mate.. Looks a great bike! TLZone has lots of really helpfull folk.. Of course you'll be persuaded to spend loads of money on good mods.. so be prepared to be skint.
