On the off chance I can get accomodation on the island (I have freinds there), how likely is it that I will get space on a ferry at this stage?

Is there any day thats better to go than others? I'd really like to see McGuinness et al in full flight.

Basically, if anyone has any hints or tips, Im all ears.

you should be able to get over as footpassenger but NO chance of getting a car or bike over

good luck

For car/bike here's 3 options.....
1) Classifieds on iomtt.com forum.
2) Ebay.
3) Turn up and hope.

or, go as foot passenger

There's still accomodation in Douglas from £25 pppn.

Phone Steam Packet and ask - I think you might still get over.

Steam packet said no chance.

Ahh well, will concentrate my efforts on LeMan MotoGP and the 'ring instead and save IOM for next year.

Thanks for the offers in any case chaps.

Smiler.

Try Peter Crossley on 01624 622999 as a long shot. It'll be worth it if you can get over.

Good luck

I'm really surprised at that. A mate of mine cancelled just a week ago. I'm sure other peeps are cancelling due to unforseen circs every day. If I were you I'd phone every day am and pm asking for a cancellation.

TBH, turning up at Heysham or L'pool would probably get you on a ferry when someone doesn't turn up.

There's reports every few days about how they're laying extra flights on for getting over to the island.

Do you need to take a bike or car? As a foot passenger you'd get over pretty easy.

Go on go on go on go on go on go on go on.....

Next year is no good, thats the 101 TT, you HAVE to be at the 100!
