Appealing for witnesses?, for a speeding offence? was anyone hurt/killed? FFS

I wonder if they would ask for witnesses for a Burglary or Car theft?

It sounds like the only way the BiB would catch them is if they are dobbed in. Hopefully they can keep their mouth shut (for their own good)

170 on a public road? What an idiot. Didn't he see the top gear saying you have to do at least 174 to avoid capture by speed camera? I suppose it could be an average speed...

It was on both ITV and BBC local news in the evening. (Lead story on ITV). What a warped set of priorities! On Tuesday night the 20 year old son of an acquaintance was knocked down and killed while walking near Norwich. Now, I don’t know any of the details of that accident but, I didn’t see any police appeals for witnesses on the news!

Get a life..springs to mind!

Yep 170 on that road was probaby foolhardy etc etc however in the big picture of things and when they dont come out for burglaries, assults etc this is rediculous.

Yeah, the BiB just can't stand not being able to nail someone for their favourite easy game of catching speeding motorists!

As you say, had he been mugging a pensioner they probably wouldn't have turned up (and if they had, it would have been to tell the pensioner not to walk down dark alleys or have valuables on display).

Was he really gonna hurt anyone other than himself? Let face it if he has an off at that pace he's toast, but he's pretty unlikely to do anyone else much damage.
