Just taxed my 2006 impreza WRX which cost me £300 under the new tax price guide introduced by that knob end Gordon Brown.
Also taxed the wifes Forester costing £210.
£510 plus bike tax of £46 for a year with no option for 6 months tax.
Surely taxing 2 cars that i use everyday,my road tax for my CBR should be free, after all i cannot be in both at the same time and as we all know motorbikes are more eco friendly the both my Subarus.
Gordon Brown needs a kick up his eco friendly ass, I can understand that he is proving a point and increasing un eco friendly car road tax to show the rest of the world that he is doign something about global warming but surely he should be also awarding us bikers for saving the planet at the same time or is it just an eco friendly excuse to gather more income for our roads which are not that great a quality.

P.S Sorry for ranting

No one will ever reward bikers. Any government regardless of party will allways hammer road users because there is no feasable alternative.

I am very very worried now that fat saggy faced tt brown is in charge. The budget made it sound that low/mid emission cars would be ok but my MG went up £15 quid.
