Sat at home yesterday thought i'd give it a chance as Hamilton is doing well, put the TV on then within 5 laps it reminded me of how boring it was, they need to seriously discuss how to make that more exciting.

Last night drove back to Oxford (where I work) sat and watched WSB from Monza with a couple of lads who I work with, we were all on the edge of our seats.

I was constantly questioned on who was who and what bikes they are on! One of the guys was a massive Button fan, I explained to him about JT and how he has had to cope with going from a V-Twin to a 4 stroke etc, they loved every minute of it so have told them about Moto GP this wend and that is the real deal!

We need to convert more!

Could not agree more, even the commentators seem embaresed about the lack of action. At one point they were getting really exicted as there was a chance the someone / anyone might over take in the next 5 laps. Absolute crap.

yep i'm a former fan of F1 and for some reason i stayed in to watch it yesterday.
I have to admit the first 45 seconds were pretty exciting when Massa and Alonso were side by side at the 1st corner..

And 3 minutes at the end when David Coulthard had lost a gear and was being caught. That sparked a hint of enthusiasm.

Comparing that with MotoGP BSB or WSB really shows just how dull and technical for the sake of technical F1 has become... (Is it time for bed yet? tumbleweed )

I always watch it on fast forward now, only using normal speed if it looks as if something interesting might happen, which generally it doesn't . . .

I'm a car bloke myself (well, until I get round to getting my bike licence one day) but I must admit, bike motorsport is where its at. I'm a big fan of BSB, WSB (come on JT!) and especially Moto GP. Whats the point in racing with no overtaking? F1 is good after a heavy night, I usually watch the start and the finish and spend the rest of the time catching up on my shuteye.
