ZX12R to ZZR1400?

I have a 7 year old ZX12R that I've owned from new, never had any problems apart from a few recalls. Done 28k miles on it. I've been offered a new ZZR1400 with ABS (a feature which I fancy the idea of).

Can't make my mind up at the moment.

Anyone here have any pros and cons that I might not have thought of?

Yes, the new busa coming out in 2008 ...the huge, horrid plastic grill thing on the flanks of the 14..

Id say keep the 12 for teh time being mate..ZZR14 values will plummet as they havent quite caught the immagination of the bike buying public like the busa and the ZX12 did years ago

i have no experiances with the ZZR1400 so i cant realy say tbh.

erm new busa is due soon iirc


cant you get a go on one first and see what you think of it?

Well, I know that to get hold of an ABS model I had to wait more than 3 months and this is in the 2nd year of production for the bike (1st yr for ABS).

I try to avoid 1st year of new bikes because of all the hype and having to pay full list price.
