ers. I know the feeling - I bet you're hoping never to see it again aren't you? Sorry to hear this.
well I'm sure you've phoned the BiB - no doubt we'll see a short news report on all the regional news programs - with the Chief Inspector appealing for witnesses with a discription of the bike / times / locations etc etc and I'm sure they'll be scanning through all the local CCTV footage to ID the scum that took it....

Funnily enough, they are coming to work tomorrow to look through the CCTV. Footage shows the scrotes riding two-up past a couple of times, then a swift four minutes out of sight, and pouff, gone. Ho hum. Karma will ensure that they forgot the twin front disks, and die horribly going over the bars. hopefully...
Think I got a decent service from the nice constable on the desk, simply because I wasnt a drunken bailmonkey, or someone reporting their mobile "stolen" like the four people in front of me in the queue
As per usual, good frontline policing in terms of getting it onto the PNC, but hope is not high, and even if they are caught, they'll be bailed and doing it again the same day.Where did my comments go????!!!
Anyway, something along the lines of.....
Marcus, didn't realise you looked like that! Any chance of meeting for a drink, bit of dinner and who nows!!!
ps - Was that one of Megy's ladies?? Might have to get a new bike, and get my ar*e down to meet him!!!

sorry to hear about this, London is really terrible for bike theft now though particularly if your on anything remotly sporty, a friend had someone try to steal his battered 10 year old Firestorm but the imobilizer stopped them and they left it but it just proves the little bastards will nick anything, i hope they catch them and the insurance doesnt take too long

Really sorry to hear that, and can sympathise as last year some little $hites stole my KTM Duke II (it was 10 months old) and my commuter scooter and wrote both of them off. Aparently the neighbourhood warden from some minky area saw kids riding my Duke across a golf course with about 3 of them on it.
The problem with these things is the Police tend to think of it as victmless crime but it isn't. They should make it a minimum of 10 years for vehicle theft - that would make them think twice.
If the justice was left to me it would involve a petrol drive cutoff saw....

No news, but wasnt expecting any unless it was good news about an RTA
Insurance "interview" tomorrow afternoon. Will be pointed replies, as I'm unlikely to spend hundreds getting the Ohlins damper back on, and a new chain and sprockets only to ditch it. Eejits.
Insurance wait is two weeks before write-off, so time to consider replacements. SquareMile have a nice sensible 955i in for silly money, which could be flogged off later for around the same, so thats a possible.
On the other hand, they also have a glorious 996SPS in for a bunch more. Wonder if they'll take installments?
Cheers for the thoughts, chaps.
