Absolutely mindblowing!!!
Truly amazing roads, there's nothing to compare to them in this country.
Scenery was astounding. Traffic was almost non-existant!
The only cops we saw kindly took a group photo for us
Pics and video to follow.
1300 miles on a K7 GSXR 750 and not feeling too knackered.....

I have driven, but never ridden over the Pyranees, the drive was awesome so I can understand how the great the ride must been.
I am off to France to Dijon on Thursday, 3.5 days 1,000 miles ish!
Though have f***** up badly as I was offered a ticket + hospitality to Heineken Cup Final at Twickenham on Sunday, accepted thinking it was last Sunday> Doh!!
Therefore will be leaving Dijon at dawn on sunday to catch the 10.50ish shuttle back to 'Blighty'.
400 miles = sore arse!!

Great stuuf eh?! Not so good it you're scared of heights as I am, but top roads.
Did you get a sore arse/legs on the gixer?
Our trip went as follows:
Ferry from Plymouth to Santander
First night in Jaca
Second night in Sort
Third night in Pau
Fourth night in Lograno
Ferry from Santander to Plymouth
The roads in and out of Sort are amazing. Also the road from Jaca to Pamplona was brilliant. Some really high speed stuff combined with 270 degree bends and some amazing scenery.
On the second day, we took the road over the top of a mountain, loads of really tight hairpins!

That is a fantastic photo! What a great trip too - sounds perfect!
Last summer I rode through France to Avignon then across to Toulouse and back up to Blighty and had the most amazing time. No cameras, almost no police, open raods with good surface and great visibility, stunning scenery through the mountains . . . it does make you realise how small Britain can feel, although I've had plenty of good rides there too.
I'm so glad I own a bike!!

Pyrenees biking trips during the summer is an ambition of mine....even better if I had a big camper with a few bikes strapped to the rear...barbecues at sunset after a good hard days riding on the most perfect of roads...you just would not want to return to the old 9-5...

Must do a trip like this, just don't think the Duke would be 2 comfy!
I did a trip with a group of mates to northern Spain a good few years ago which involved Dover to Calais, then a ride down through France (no Autoroutes), a ‘blat’ around northern Spain and a ride back up through France. All in all, 2 weeks of great fun.
I had a BMW K100RS and there were a number of BMWs, Pans, a ZZR1100 and an FJ1200. One of the group came on a Duke 888!
I was amazed that he suffered no more aches and pains than any others in the group and other than the issue of securing the luggage, was happy and comfortable with the whole trip. It taught me that you can tour on anything!
Give it a go!Did this myself in 2005, rode from Sussex to Gibraltar and back. Had a great time - only thing I would say is i did it in September when it was still warm in France, and boiling in Spain/Gibraltar. Freezing in Andorra though...........
Had summer gloves, summer boots, leathers and t-shirt - not a mistake I will ever make again when travelling that far!
