Some friends and I now have Enduro Bikes. And I must say it’s the best thing ever, you never realised that watching your mates fall off in mud, through rivers, or up steep hills could be so much fun!

What’s more if you fall off, yes you can get hurt but it’s unlikely a bus will drive over your head whilst heading down some our beautiful countries byways.

Spain, Wales, the Peak District, we are now doing them all and its great fun!

I also now have a new KTM 525 EXC that will still beat most vehicles on the road!

The forum I now use for this as I live in the Home Counties is:

Come and get dirty!

And when you get good try:

Great bike the KTM. This is something I would not mind getting into - did a bit when a lot younger - fabulous fun!!!

Yup, offroad is great fun HOWEVER, thanks to our glorious government there's almost nowhere to ride (legally) anymore

Oh, I've got a DRZ400S.

Does not appear to deter the crowd who come down to Salisbury Plain most weekends, I am full of envy but not sure my body could take the abuse.

I had some great times over the years on mine, but it had to go as I'm just not fit enough anymore.

Keep an eye on this forum http://greenlanecrew.proboards55.com/ we meet most other weekends, I am fairly new to it all but some of the lads know just about every off-route imaginable.

Yes our glorious government are closing lots of the by-ways, but you probably still have around a year or two of fun left, so make the most of it!

Age is also no restriction as many lads are in there late 40’s. What doesn’t help is a fat arse, so get down the gym and stop making excuses!
