Brand new Arlen Ness suit - fits lovely £260 off ebay. Cracking result, although I've been told I look like a power ranger!!!

Off to France on Friday....just hope me new gloves arrive tomorrow!

An on-line shop. A mate showed me his new gloves (SPADA) and they were very nice. All the carbon protection you need, good quality leather and all for £45.

Well done Chilli. You're a brave man buying new leathers and gloves just a week before a trip to France. I would suggest lots of wearing of the leathers around the house for the next couple of days in order break them in. (May also address that leather fetish and keep Mrs Chilli er ... on her toes!)

Speaking of carbon inserts on gloves, I read a fascinating article (which I'm trying to find again as we speak) about how carbon really isn't the best material to use and how strengthened ABS inserts are a lot more durable and just as light.

Paying for Chilli's gear after every crash could cover the national debt of most 3rd world nations.

I hope he didn't read the "how to find the limits of your bike" thread, otherwise he's going to be doing more hedge surfing! "Limit? Ah, just back there..."
