Well it's passed it's Mot, it needs taxing & insuring again, it has done only 300 miles since last Mot and about 700 since coming up here to Skye about 3 years ago due to new baby, work to do around the house and the weather.
I can sell it but a 99T seems to fetch about £1700 max on e_bay, I can keep it and continue shelling out each year for next to no use or mothball it and hope one day....
Most of my mileage has been to and fro the MoT place or the bike shops for new tyres or battery...
Did wonder about a "Classic" instead no tax or depreciation but less reliable when needed and would I still get round to using it?

Dilemma - discuss please

If it was me I'd sell it, definately. Bikes are for riding, especially something like your Sprint: all it's doing just now is sitting in a garage costing you money and gathering dust, which is not a healthy state of affairs for either you or the bike.

Depending on how handy you are, why not buy a basket case and stitch it together as a project? Or, as I am guessing you really don't have much time on your hands, buy a pretty together older bike and at least it will cost you no more than your exisitng bike to maintain whilst not depreciating.

Or, if it really was me, I'd ride it more. frown

Thanks Hiccy, guess you are right, it has now gone up on the Classifieds.
Any other suggestions, not heard of much success on autotrader and wary of e_bay.
Any free ad places, best if I sell it before mid June as it needs insurance then too.

Got any pics/spec?

Have you thought about putting it in the PH classifieds?
