Visited this place last week, and rode some of the "track". Stopped under a bridge (either at the "S"'s or the Porsche curves and wondered up onto the track. Makes your hairs stand on end thinking about some of the things that have gone on over the years there. Even rode past the place where that blokes car flipped upside down and ploughed into the woods....Cracking circuit.

So, anyone going? I've been invited but doubt I'll be able to get the time off.... however, I'll start work on the mrs tonite (about Le mans, obviously)!

Sea France, 8 o'clock, Weds 14th.
Do it, do it, do it. Can probably find a bunk space as I've persuaded someone to take my huge tent down for me. Is good fun.

Ferry tickets, fistful of Euros. Will manage parking of the bike when we get there, as they are slightly more relaxed before the race starts, I shall be buying a carrefour sleeping bag, and binning it, and a few clothes. The rest is beer and sunburn biggrin
Will be buying a General Access ticket when I get there, or simply staying inside the circuit, as the pitches are in Houx, which is inside anyway.

If you're talking about the car race, I'll be there, pop over to Houx (I'll be with the TVR City region mob)

Not that every year is like it, but the first year I turned up sans ticket, just me the bike and a tent. The chaps smuggled me into the campsite and I had a very pleasant weekend not seeing any racing at all.....

You only need friends , transport and cash.......

There is a Le Mans PH section with most of the info you are after. Entry tickets are always available, while camping tickets sold out long ago. If you know someone going who's already camping then you'll probably be able to bunk down near them. As mentioned above, all you need is mates, transport and cash. And a spare liver when you get home.
