Never knew this till now. They are now running Misano in the opposite direction to how they used to and they have added a new section making it longer.

What do you make of that? I don't think it'll make a major difference as the really fast back straight section is still there plus removing the Variente Arena chicane has created another good straight as well.

Oh and after a test session there the riders have said it is very bumpy. Sounds like they've done a typical half arsed build.

I wonder why the direction has been reversed from anti' to clockwise... could it be anything to do with a certain Italian rider having a preference for right hand corners?

The back straight corners are going to be very fast! looks like an improvement on the old track IMO.

I believe the direction change has been brought in for safety reasons.

I'm going and can't wait!

Should be a great atmosphere particularly being a Rossi fan and it being local to where he grew up.
