After posting for advice on a suitable upgrade bike a few weeks ago I have decided that a Sprint ST is the way forward.
Taking a final test ride tomorrow before parting with the cash and wondered if anyone here has got one and what I should be looking out for. Are there any known weaknesses with these bikes? Everything I have read is very positive and I haven't come across anything negative.
All guidance much appreciated.

Hi,
Now I am no expert, my bike stays in the garage far too much for me to give an expert comment, the bike is actually up for sale at the minute as a result. (too much work, new baby, too much rain up here etc etc)however, I can't fault the bike, mines a 99 on a T plate. It'll run smoothly all day, return 55mpg as a commuter bike, do 400 mile round trips to Donnington, is comfortable etc etc
I tried a VFR as well when I bought it and the VFR felt rough in comparison, sort of a 4 cylinder twin rather than the Triumph triple.
Only thought, if you intend using it for anything other than rides out, try to find one with a top box or panniers. They don't look pretty, but when you need to get a bit of shopping after work.......and they are expensive to buy afterwards.

(I have posted a separate thread about a bit of a silly mistake i made yesterday)
