Insurance policies?
Discussion
Having just passed my DAS on wednesday (with only 2 minors which I think was bloody harsh! Personally I think he gave me those 'cos of the unmarked sliders on my brand new leathers!
), I'm now searching for a bike.
I'm looking at a GSXR600 (good first bike, no?!
), and, having done the online quote thing using a comparison site for bike insurance, the cheapest I can get is..................£227! I budgeted for about £600 so that was great!
Now, being a complete tart, I only want to ride during the summer months, or, more accurately, when it's dry (so about 2 days in June, 3 in July, and a couple in August then!). I seem to remember someone saying that they used to get a policy for six months for this very reason, so I was wondering what do you guys all do when it comes to insurance?
Is it possible to get a six month policy or do I just have to cancel the yearly one & suck up the admin fee to do that?
And anyone in or around Basingstoke want to show a newbie how to ride I'll be up for that when I get a bike.
