Just a rant in general about scooter riders in central London......

They seem to have no regard to personal safety (if they kill themselves fair enough, but I'm more concerned about the poor bugger they hit)

They don't give a rats backside about other peoples bikes, and will quite happily either shove their bike (which is typically already scratched to S**t) right up to yours or move other peoples bikes by sliding them over (admittedly not with the bigger bikes, more with the 125s and other scooters).

Is it just me or do other people find this as well?

Yeah, can be a nightmare but to be fair no worse on the road than taxis, buses, white vans etc.

I ride in central London everyday and have never had an issue, if a scooter is faster than me through traffic I just wave them through. Also scooters really are the tool of choice through london traffic, there are very few vehicles that can keep up. If I didnt have the motorway bit of my journey I'd be on a scooter!

Some are fine and I let the quick one by. Others are a bloody liability and have no idea what's going on around them rolleyes

The same can be said for superbike riders on a sunny day who only ride into the city twice a year.

I find that a lot around where I live (Ealing), they seem to hang around the bike training place in Northfields a lot as well.

I've left one on double yellows before. This was back in the day when the R6 was pretty new, and this cock had parked down the side of it. Would have gone into one had he been there....
