Obviously I'm a law abiding, straight as a die kinda bloke...wouldn't even dream of breaking the law, or acting like a wally.....but......
Sometimes, just sometimes don't you just become 10 years old again? I find my self leaving it really late on the brakes.... just to be dramatic. Or purposely stamping on the rear brake, knowing it will cause the back to step out and need correction. Or even changing down early just to make the back wobble! How about shifting over toone side when "attacking" a corner just to make it look/feel better even though there is zero advantage to be gained!!

Do I need help, or are we all hiding such dark secrets??!!

High speed filtering...

Not big or clever - and pretty dangerous.

(Not at Ghostrider speeds, I hasten to add)

I'm guilty of all of the above except the leaning over bit simply because I'd look a numpty on a TDM with my knee out.

I'm also susceptable to the traffic light GP and the odd wheelie if there are a lot of bikes at a set of lights nono

Add to that a bit of quick commuting and yes, I'm also a child smile

Had a superb ride in this morning with a red VFR and as childish as it was, I know we'll both be grinning all morning.

You are not alone! I have been known on occasions to undertake the odd late brake or deliberate rear wheel step out just because it’s fun. (Obviously, only on private roads!)

Such manoeuvres ‘feel good’ but do think about it. If you see someone else doing such things, do they look ‘cool’ or do they look like a bit of a wally? Just be aware of how everyone else views what you are doing! (and thus why they’re laughing at you!)

Yep. it's not big and it's not clever. It never fails to put a smile on my face whenever I see a bike pull a wheelie from the lights though smile

Whenever I see the back end out or high speed filtering though (even though guilty myself occasionally) I whince and expect to see them in the wall further down the road.

I have to admit I do the occasional traffic light grand prix and also filter faster than I probably should at times.

I hate filtering! All I get is visions of someone changing lane and removing one of my legs, so I tend to take it easy.
But, yes to all of the other things, taking a tighter corner just to lean the bike more, accelerating as hard as possible to the redline just to hear the twin ART cans at throttle.
Good thing there's loads of private roads near me

Kill switch with a pair of Carbon Yoshi's on my TL - setting off car alarms down roads. I can't help it. It's not my fault. My right hand is posessed.

I used to commute into london ever day on my ZX12. There was a set of traffic lights on the A40 that i used to catch ever morning. You would sometimes get up to 10 or 12 bikes that filter up to the front. That was always fun smile

Third and Forth gear wheelies, little voice inside my head is responsible, old habits die hard.

Oh, and I would never be so irresponsible too do them on the road past sports cars, when they are flat out.
