I always try to watch for you guys in slow moving traffic and to make an obvious move to make it easy for you to progress. 2/3rds of you always say thank you.

Today M25 20 miles of slow traffic. I must have helped 20 bikers to have a better ride home.

Not one thank you! :-(

I always give a thank you and was filtering through a similarly long traffic jam on the M25 yesterday. Only about 3 cars noticed me though rolleyes

It isn't always easy (or safe) to acknowledge someone, but trust me every biker will be grateful and it is appreciated - nice one beer

Agree, so many people moved over for me today (Odd, they parted like the red sea) I would have had no hands on the bars to thank them all!

But yeah, good effort "Two hats" please keep it up smile

Yeah, sorry to hear about this. I'm forever waving and shaking me head....It's like being at a party....knackered by the time I get home!!

I'm sure the boys were very grateful, so please keep it up....good job that!

I always thank anyone who has helped by even the slightest of moves to let me pass, even if I'm not sure they have conciously done it and would have moved over anyway.

Thanks for your efforts to help and please keep it up as it is appreciated by most of us that ride. thumbup

Here's a few waves of thanks to make up for the ones you missed this morning.

what he said

i try and acknowledge but while filtering and watching for lane changers its not always safe too...the least i do is flick my left/right/left on the indicators if i can

i always move over if im in the car and tbh 80% of riders thanks me for it

were a good bunch really

I always acknowledge by raising my fingers high off the clutch, without removing the palm of my hand from the bars. This in conjunction with a slow nod means I can be filtering looking like the Churchill dog sometimes hehe

French way is best! They take one foot off the peg to say thanks, much safer provided the car in front doesn't think you are putting the boot into their door!

I'll always move over for a bike, even if its only slightly to let the bike have more room, and know I'm not gonna swerve into him.

I wouldn't expect a wave or acknowledgement, but the times I have got one, even just the lifting of a couple of fingers off the handle bar, its a gratifying feeling smile
