2 minors, otherwise a perfect ride according to the examiner!

Thanks for the hints and tips for my u turn, spent ages practising today, used a few hints that you guys gave me and got it nailed in time for my test.

Thanks to the guys at Biketec for getting me through my test first time, great training and good advice thumbup

Now, just need to get a bike!! Got a test ride of a GSXR600 and Daytona 675 on saturday afternoon, anything i should be aware of???

Cheers all thumbup

Mark,

Well done mate, nice one. Good luck with the tet rides, both very nice bikes, just take it easy. Not sure what you've riden before, but if it's only the 500's they teach you on, these bikes are in a different league......enjoy it mate, you deserve it!!

Cheers.

Congrats. Both nice choices of bike. Best advice is to try them both out for as long as possible...your riding will improve so quickly from this point on, and your confidence will grow. And whatever you buy, it will feel a million miles better than what you just passed on!

Good luck and be careful out there!

Congrats! thumbup In terms of your test ride, just try to pick a route that represents how you'll use the bike.

Hardest part was taking a test route i hadn't been on before, so didn't actually know where i was going at one point. Was told later that it's an old test route that hasn't been used in a while. I don't actually remember much about the u turn, all i know i left one curb and next thing i was sitting at the other one! I wasn't as nervous as i thought i would be, i think thats partly the key to passing

Well done! biggrin

The 600s may only have 100cc more, but they will be approximately TWICE the power evil

Have fun and let us know how you get on!

Bought a Honda CBR600F, liked both the Triumph and the Suzuki, but felt i was a bit too big in build for them both, couldn't get comfy at all and the Triumph was killing my back. And that Suzuki is a bloody missile hehe

Should hopefully pick up the bike on Thursday if i can get my loan in time, so fingers crossed for decent weather next weekend thumbup
