anyone bought a hypermotard??

I posted this a few weeks ago http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... and I believe some people were just about to get theirs. I'd be interested to know the experience too!

I would have to say be careful, I had a Multistrada, had to ride it for a week during January, didn't wash it off every night because my priority was thawing out my fingers. salt got into the cases and it started to strip the paint off.
In fairness the cases were changed under warranty, but if it had been 6 months later......
Found out after that the cases have magnesium in them and once the corrosion gets in there is bugger all you can do about it.
