Thinking about getting a new bike, used to own a GSXR 600K1 back in 2002 and sold it when I bought a S1 Exige. Sold the car last year and have been yearning for another bike for a few months and have decided to go for it. Am after a new CBR600RR or GSXR K7 and found this company to be the cheapest. Has anyone bought from them or know anything about them as details on the website are pretty limited?.

I think they only deal imports , and provide their own warranty .

I seem to remember the warranty becomes void if they havent carried out the servicing , that last bit may be a figment of my imagination , but i seem to remember it was what put me off from purchasing from them

Try Abingdon Motorcycles for a CBR.

I bought 2 new bikes from them before the owner sold it.

They were good at offering deals that were just rude to refuse, hence the SP1. smile

Those guys are DK neat stoke are not to be trusted. I've heard so many bad stories on bike forums about them I'd never go there. If you want cheap new bikes and don't care if its an import then the place that most people recommend is TAZ in Peterborough. My mate had a blade off them in 06 and he's not had any issues.

DK are cheap but they are all imports and not official Suzook, Kawa etc. You get what you pay for......

I've bought 2 bikes from them, 1200 bandit and a RSV mille. They are one of the few bike shops that you can get a test ride. I took their Mille demonstrator out for about an hour and a half. I knew I was going to buy one after 5 minutes, but liked it so much. John

They all rolled out of the same factory though and are still backed up by a warranty. It will be exactly the same bike as bought from a U.K dealer but approx 1K cheaper.

I've never used DK, so can't comment. But if i ever buy a new bike again, it'll be an import.

May well be cheaper to buy new - it'll be cheaper for the person that buys it from you when you sell it too though!

Not planning on selling mine so that does not bother me. Just trying to decide how to spend the grand i have saved.biggrin Cant understand why people would want to pay more money than they have to,for the same bike.confused

dk=can of worms in the open setting.
go ask on a bike site like visordown or bcf or any of the other bike owner sites.
some horror stories and some very happy punters.
it seems to work that if you get a luck /good bike you will come away happy.
if you get an unlucky/bad bike you will come away with less money at best.
i only know personaly one person who has had a bike from them.it was and import,he knew it,and after a few weeks they sorted it to uk speck and it was fine.
the only other person i knew who had a bike from them is now dead.
50/50 you like them odds to save a couple of £?
