Currently looking for a new bike and like this a lot

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/204386.htm

but something don't smell quite right. I emailed the link to my mate and he reckons its a show bike from the US

I flagged a car to PH yesterday using the Report Post button and I think this is equally as dodgy. My mate thinks its a £10k bike and at £2.5k its waaay too cheap.

What do you lot think?

It's got an extended swing arm, so it's most likely a picture of a drag bike. Your mate is right, there's usually a lot of £££s invested in such a thing, so suspect a scam. In terms of price, Hayabusa engines for kit cars can go for £2.5-3k, so you won't see many complete bikes at that price level and they'll be a lot less presentable than that!

Steve.

Maybe it's cheap because they've painted it to look like the best make of bike ever... but everyone can see it's still a Fugly busa.

They both look way too cheap. I havent heard anything back from PH since I logged suspicious activity, but both of these bikes are US based, and both have yahoo email addy's and both replys were sent to me within 4 minutes of each other for two different sellers and two different bikes
