That's just thoroughly rubbish. He was a very talented racer and had a great future ahead of him. That's a couple lost from the BSB/BSS paddock this year.

I've just heard this from my son who had met Ollie a few times with mutual friends.

Our most sincere condolencies to Tommy, his family and friends.

He was a fantastic guy and bought a smile to the face of everyone around him and the few times i met him he was always full of stories and jokes, a truly remarkable man. RIP mate, you will be missed cry

I heard this today... it is tragic for someone so young.

I just feel very sorry for his family, particularly his brother.

My best wishes go out to them all...

Terrible news.

RIP.

It's a track that I've been on many times, and enjoy, but I can only imagine what it's like on a Superbike. The bit after Edwina's heading towards a brick wall, scary.

Just seen this on ITV, terrible, the reason I won't ride a superbike, even the best can succumb to mistakes.

Feel sorry for his brother.

RIP

olly was always so happy and loving life every time i saw him. He was up for a bit of banter with everyone and anyone. I know he will be missed by many people and my thoughts go out to his family at this sad time.
There is no consolation to death but one thing is true, he died chasing his dream and doing what he loved and was born to do.
Keep your chin up and your knee down olly, were all heading to the same place at some point.

I heard about this on Friday and it really did hit home how dangerous this sport could be. Olly was a top guy and i loved reading his column, he will be greatly missed.
