Odd to see Hopkins lose his rag with Checa(?) in the last few minutes - anyone else see that?
Odd to see him miss with the kick, he's usually so much more accurate with his wafting limbs.Go Chaz, 0.5s off "team mate" Barros.

First time at Laguna, first time on a MotoGP bike, first time on Bridgestones, first time with carbon brakes, first time on a qualifier tyre.

I stood up in anticipation when Jules & Toby said he was 0.2s off at the first split, 0.4 at the 2nd and 0.7 off at the 3rd, shame he made a small error in the last sector. But still, 1.8s off Casey Stoner's pole time. Superb.

Kurtis is worth it just for the comedy value.
Excellent to see our own Chaz doing so well on his first MotoGP outing - absolutely fantastic, in fact!

just like playing "road rash" back in the day

all in all a pretty action packed quali session...roll on race day

Hayden will win..... it's a pish-awful track that only American's who've been round it a million times can do well on. It's the only track Hayden can win on... Champion? Ha!
COME ON CHAZ!! I pass Chaz's go-kart track twice a day going to/from work
Went there once too, they dont like it when you play Bumper-cars.. bloody remote cut out

I sat up until 1am watching this last night, kept hoping that Rossi would take pole on the final lap as he's done before but sadly not. Looking forward to the race, and that corkscrew is one scary corner - over a crest then full on right lean, can't be that much grip to be had!
All in all, a good day for bike TV - WSB and WSS earlier (did anyone else see the last lap crash of the pos 2 and 3 riders?!) and now the GP this evening.
