Its mainly fashion and partly to do with mass centralisation.

I think its arse, I like my R1 pipes.

Oh right, what a weird fashion! Thought it may be something to do with emission regulations.

Seen it on a few nice bikes and really don't like it at all.

Have you got a newer R1 with centre underseat exhausts? I love them, or big twin side cans. But not these stubby things!

I love the stubby cans. Underseat ones look cool, but I'm not a fan of great big pipes running the length of the bike.... unless there's two of them

I have two. Underseat jobbies.

They look mint. Specially the tapered ends to match the tail section of the fairing.
